2007 - Big Climbs
The mild weather means climbing season started early. See Google Map with all climbs so far in 2007.
Success!
Today, on a crisp, cold, sunny day, I completed my 2007 challenge to cycle 160,00 metres of vertical ascent (about 525,000 feet or one foot for every minute of the year).
Collet d'Allevard
Le Collet d'Allevard is the featured climb in the October edition of Le Cycle Magazine.
Col de Cuvery
Col de Cuvery is above Bellegarde and part of the same massif as Col de Richmond, Col de la Biche and Le Grand Colombier.
Swiss Alps - Eiger and Bernese Oberland

We took a three day weekend to the car-free Swiss mountain village of Wengen - part of the unbelievably beautiful Jungfrau region - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most glaciated part of the Alps.
